Uhm, I don’t think an anime TV series would be a good idea.

An Anime series?… depends if there is a rare chance that you get a great team with a good writer who cares about the series and knows about the street fighter universe to work on it(and all the stars align).

I would love to see a well done series to Compliment street fighter, and not terrible live action movies (No more Justin Marks scripts and now he is writing Shadow of the Colossus).

And regarding Yuri movie I am hoping we ps3 owners get all the goods. Otherwise,I’ll just have to download and watch it…

Well I would say as a PS3 owner that I would love to see it come over. But not as an exclusive to a collectors editions, but perhaps as DLC on the Capcom online store. the PS3 can download movies, so not a problem, don’t know about the 360’s abilities in this area though.

As for a series, well Street Fighter has had two longer lasting ones by video game animation standards an American cartoon geared towards younger audiences and the anime series Street Fighter V. I’d say a series placed later in the time line like IV, and doesn’t treat them like cheesy super-heroes would have potential. But then again at the same time I could see Capcom go crazy and stick chibi-versions like Gem Fighter for a cross-over with Super Hero Squad LoL.

Well considering there was an English version of the trailer, I’m going to guess that it will be distributed outside of Japan.

You know… just taking a step back and thinking about it with the given clues, I think Capcom is yanking the US chain a bit. That or Capcom of America wants to be the one to announce the details to the US market themselves. The photoshopped looking version of the cover is just that, a photoshopped version that’s never meant to be the final design. It’s just put there to rial ppl up. And even if the Juri movie is Japan exclusive, why make an english dub of the movie instead of just an english sub? Capcom already has a track record of essentially lying through their teeth untill they’re good and ready to make an announcement about stuff. Both SFIV and SSFIV were both well into development when people started asking about them and they still had a “no comment” or just plain “no” approach. I’m calling shenanigans on Capcom! They’re trying to be tricky tricky.

Yeah Capcom always wants to take people by surprise. But sometimes, it’s a bit too much on their part.

No offense to Nakky but she often comes off as kind of an airhead in her posts. I’m sure whatever she said or however it was translated it was not meant to be a Japan exclusive movie. Isn’t there already an dub trailer or was that fan made? Regardless I’m sure the movie will suck, we’ll hem and haw till we get it, watch it once then forget about it forever.

I’d also like to note that this week has been all about Lost Planet 2 announcements and TvC launch for CAPCOM USA I’m sure they just couldn’t fit any major SSFIV info on their plate and will get to it next week.

I thought they were going to say something new about the game on friday.

That outfit represents she is under M. Bison’s influence..
The other dolls don’t seem to have escaped M. Bison’s control over them, though I can’t say I know exactly what’s going on with Juri attacking them.

Perhaps Seth wants her to eliminate anyone that has connections to M. Bison to test her strength..
