In his newly opened twitter account, SSF4 producer Yoshinori Ono, answered two questions about the possible and hopeful PC version of Super Street Fighter IV. These are the 2 questions with their answers:

Q: Please tell us if Super Street Fighter 4 is coming to the PC.

A: The PC version has some problems. In [Street Fighter 4], a large amount of illegal copy appeared on the market all over the world. Please Wait…

Q: Fans who bought the PC version of Street Fighter 4 are waiting for SSF4, will it happen? If so, when?

A: We are solving various problems now. Time is necessary for this.

If this was not a hint of a PC version then call me crazy. A port was heavily rumored that it was in developpement, however capcom expressed a number of time how unhappy they were with the huge number of pirated copies of SF4 that were been shared online, stating that such action are dooming (but not definitely rulling out) the possibility of more Capcom games on the PC.

This gruesome trailer like video appeared couple weeks ago on the net. Some people thought it was the trailer for the new game, other thought it was a trailer for a new movie. The reality is far from both. MK:Rebirth was a short movie made by director Kevin Tancahroen (director of last year’s movie “fame”)   to pitch his idea of an MK movie to warner brothers (the new owners of the MK ip). The script is written by Oren Uziel (who WB hired to write a script for a new full legnth Mortal Kombat movie before this short was made)  and it stars the following famous actors:

Jax: Michael Jai White
Sonya Blade: Jeri Ryan
Scorpion: Ian Anthony Dale
Baraka: Lateef Crowder
Johnny Cage: Matt Mullins

Should WB make this movie happen? while i do like it i find it a bit far from what MK is. Mortal Kombat is about sorcerers, ninjas, specters, shaolin, mysticism and realms. I  liked the first Mortal Kombat movie and i though all it needed was some gore and fatalities. I did however hate the second movie with a passion, and i am hoping if a third movie is to be made that it stick to the roots of the first 2 games (or the new MK game) and dont be shy on the blood and gore.
