Ryan Gutierrez, known as gootecks, posted in his twitter account a mind blowing tidbit. According to him, SSF4 will be updated with DLC characters.

From his twitter post: “ Got confirmation from a strong source that there are DLC characters coming down the pipe for super.

Gootecks is a famous US Street Fighter player. And just like most the famous SF4 players, gootecks does have good relations with capcom, making him a credible source for info.

Which character(s) you guys would like to be added via DLC ? Let us know in the comment section

coinexpress, an arcade reseller, published in their website that the arcade version of SSF4 will be released on October 31st, a detail that was later removed from the game’s page.

The most impoirtant tibdit however, is the following quote taken from coinexpress’s SSF4 aracde page: “The Windows version of Street Fighter IV includes all the features found in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, plus some extras, which Capcom representatives say could make it “the definitive version

I assume by “windows verson” they mean the arcade version, since the taito x2, is basically a PC running windows xp. So don’t go creating rumors that they were talking about pc version, since coinexpress is an arcade reseller only.

UPDATE: the release date and the quote above has been removed from the website. Probably cause it said too much.

Hi Guys,

We are still looking for someone who has (or can borrow) a capturing device and who also happen to have an asia xbox live account so i can e-mail him the juri anime code to download the movie and then upload it online.

The anime is apparently 35 minutes long and not as we originally though 16min. Any help towards this is very appreciated!

If you happen to meet these requirements please shoot me an e-mail at nabilelmjati@gmail.com

June 15th is the day the promised tournament mode DLC will go online. That same day, Capcom will be delivering the first balance patch for SSF4. What is in the balance batch you ask? andrisang.com has the translated details that originally appeared in the SSF4 dev blog post of today:

  • Certain Fei Long combos turning into an endless combo (against Juri)
  • When you unleash an Ultra Combo and time freezes, your guard input cancels out. This, Ayano admitted, is actually something that was known prior to the release, but they left it in as an interesting play mechanic. After the game’s release, they realized that there were a number of characters that ended up in being able to unleash their Ultra Combos with no risk.
  • The effect of Sagat’s Angry Charge move does not reflect on his EX Tiger Uppercut in some circumstances.
  • Counter damage against Bison’s Ultra Combo II Psycho Punisher move is too low
  • When Ibuki attacks a ducking Chun-Li, the second hit of the attack will not register
  • When Ibuki rises from the ground in certain instances, she’ll retain her invincibility for a long time.
