While ship does not mean sold, Capcom has announced that since it release, 1million copy of Super Street Fighter IV has shipped. This indeed still shows the big demand the game is having.

Expect to hear some amazing sales number in the next few weeks.

The beautifully packed, and connetent wise sexy, e-capcom’s SSF4 collectors edition found its way to ebay. This ultimate collectors editions contains:

- The game (of course)

- a DVD containing all the animated SF4 and ssf4 promos

- a dvd with top japan players (daigo, kindevu, mago etc) doing the hard trials of some ssf4 characters and showing their hand movement + a mini tournament/exhibition matches between japan top players in ssf4

- a calendar type movelist for all the characters in ssf4

- an artbook

- a soundtrack CD with all the 35 characters themes in it

- presumabely a short manga is included as well (not sure about this one yet, shizowa mentioned it though)

- a kick ass ken vs ryu packaging

This gorgeous edition was exclusive in limited numbers to Japan e-capcom store, luckily it found it’s way to e-bay. This ultimate edition will cost you 120 british pounds (which transkates to $183 usd).

This is it! the day we have all been waiting for since SSF4 was announced. today is the release day for the most anticipated fighting game on the planet, the sequel to last year’s figthing game of the year ois out now everywhere in north america.

Have your cup of cofee and brekfast to go and head over to your local game store to pick up what so seems to be the best fighting game ever!

Even though this might be the greatest day of your life, for bison however is JUST TUESDAY!

When talking to Kotaku during last week’s Captivate 10, SSF4 producer, Yoshinori ono explained what wwas the reason that pushed capcom to make an arcade version ssf4. Ono san also explained that the sf4 arcades will be updated to ssf4 by swaping the current hard drive with a new one.

From kotaku: “Great news for arcade fans in Japan. And Ono said that those arcades that decide to upgrade their Street Fighter IV machines to Super Street Fighter IV will only have to change out the hard drives. No new cabinet or board needed. ”

Pretty interesting!
