In a bit of a shocking rumor, the staff of Arcadeinfinity (the famous arcade place known to host some the best sf4 tournament) have posted, through their twitter account, the following statement:

“ Super Street Fighter 4 upgrade coming to arcades, at least before the console release.”

Could this really happen? the first rumor that had the leaked ssf4 details stated an arcade release before console, however capcom still says that they haven’t even decided if they will release an arcade version or not. Could this be the big announcement that Shizowa promised to make next friday ?

What do you guys think?

In its newly released strategic goals for this fiscal year, Capcom expects to sell 1.1 Million unit of Super Street Fighter IV.

This confirms that SSF4 is coming sometimes before March 31st 2010 where this fiscal year ends and probably couple weeks at least, since i don’t think the game will sell 1.1M in a week.

I am hoping that us fans will prove capcom wrong and make SSF4 sells way more than the expected number in its first weeks.

[nakky+blog.JPG]

In today’s blog post, Natsuki Shizowa announced that next friday will be a day where we see a big announcement in nakky’s blog. Rumor has it that a new character will be revealed.

Shizowa san also let slip some minor details about the japanese SF4 national tournament  qualifiers that will apparently be held in seven Japanese cities.

While we have learned to not get too excited about a shizowa promise i am hoping we see a new character reveal with a new stage maybe?

what do you guys hope to see next week ?

* Juri, part 1 (moves and abilities)

It’s been a week. Tsukamoto here.

TAMAMURA_DESK.jpg

Today, we’ll give you some long-awaited insider info on the birth of new character Juri, and some of her moves and abilities. So without any further ado, let’s hear what our busy director Okada and our Battle Planner have to say! Let’s see if they can put you fans at ease…

-First off, Mr. Tamamura will be our guest today, so please give a short introduction.

Tamamura:
My name is Tamamura, and I’m the Battle Planner.

I’m in charge of today’s subject Juri, as well as the other characters. A lot of my work revolves around data implementation and balance tweaking. Around the office, they call me… the mail order guy. Basically, I never have time to receive stuff at home, so I always have it sent to the office instead. I usually haven’t been home on Saturdays either, so I have no choice but to have everything sent here. There are a lot of DVDs and games and stuff on my desk, and pretty much all of it came here by mail.
