stokedgamer.com has 2 videos comparing 2 versions of the PC version of SFIV’s benchmark tool, one running at 30 fps and the other at 60 fps. As you will see the game running at 30fps is very unplayable. Therefore you really need a beast of a pc to play the game the way it is supposed to be played, or turn off all the eyecandy settings and then you might be able to run it.

Check the vids out below and let us know what you think:

Dear Xbox 360 owners,

If you still did not buy the excellent SSF2THD Remix when it came out, now is your chance. Microsoft did just put the title on sale, dropping its price from 1200 MS ($14.99) to 800 Ms ($9.99).
This deal is only for this week so make sure to grab it asap if you haven’t done so already.

Street Fighter Legends : chunli #3 was released last week. The comic is the the 3rd book of the 4 issues mini series revolving around chun-li’s early years.

Story: Chun-li and her partner Polin are on the trace of Shadaloo. Chun-li’s father Dorai is also trackingof the Criminal organzation with the help of his old friend Gen (who has the sf4 design in the book). It doesn’t take long for Sagat, bison’s henchman, to notice that Dorai might be a nuisance that needs to be dealt with.

The story telling in this issue is at its best. The story unfolds so smoothly that you do not notice the lack of chun-li the main character in the whole book. Dialogue is also well written and does not feel cheesy at all. Fans will also be happy to know that fan favorite movie star fei long makes an appearance as well as sf1 forgotten fighter Lee, who is Yun and Yang’s father in the udon comics universe.

shizowa San, the fan favourite producer who likes to drop hints in her blog posts has updated the SF4 dev blog with a new series of Questions and answers in which she mentions some hints about what the next Street Fighter IV itterations might include such as:

- The long forgotten gouken’s Daughter as a playable character
- Rolento might Join the Cast as well
- Special Intros might be added to the game (like ryu vs Ken, Ryuvs Gouken etc)
- A tier Chart might be added to the game as well.
Shizowa san also added than Gouken’s daughter will be as powerful as ryu and ken and might be able to shoot hadokens by just using one hand.
The fan favorite producer even went ahead and said that their are no current plans to add rival bgms to vs in the current version of sf4 nor will they add new stages.
If you are wondering about Gouken’s Daughter check back later today or tomorrow for a complete info post about Oujou San, gouken’s daughter, or as we named her in our ongoing comic: Hitomi.

By looking deep into the files of the Benchmark tool that was released early in the week, users found some audio data of the announcer mentioning T-hawk and Deejay. This, of course, created hype and rumors that both hawk and Dj are going to be playable or hidden in the pc version of sf4. Unfortuantely Seth Killian denied the rumor and explained to Destructoid what is going on.

Seth Killian: “No, T. Hawk and Dee Jay aren’t coming to PC SFIV.And just to stave off the rumor train here, no, that doesn’t mean there are a bunch of finished or semi-finished characters sitting around just waiting to be added as DLC or something. The level of polish, balance, and refinement that went into SFIV should hopefully make clear the difference between putting in wireframes and some rudimentary collision and being anywhere near a finished, living, breathing SFIV character.
So what were those files? probably left overs from the developement process, since it has been known for months now that both Dee Jay and T-hawk were planned and even had 3d models but were scrapped due to time constraints.
I would not expect to see t-hawk and deejay in SF4 anytime soon, especially that, Rumor has it, a new SF4 sequel/itteration will be announced during the Tougeki tournament in August.
