Keep reading to find out
The story picks up right after issue 1 as well as the makoto backstory we saw in the SF2 turbo series. Ibuki trying to keep her dual identity hidden from the public befriends Makoto, who besides Sarai, is the only other student to know that ibuki is a ninja. The duo soon meets a new transfer student, a Kenyan princess named Elena, who also happens to be a fighter. For Ibuki, Elena seems like a nice person and a potential friend, but for Makoto, Elena is a fighter and therefore she needs to be defeated to prove that the rindokan karate style(makoto’s style) is the strongest.

Street Fighter II Turbo #11 is the before last comic in the SF2 turbo maxi series which tells the story of the most famous tournament in the SF mythos, the SF2 tournament!
Street Fighter II #11 starts where the last issue concluded, with Ryu reaching the finals, and the final match is about to begin, ryu vs Bison. A fight that lasts for only 3 panels before it gets interrupted by none other than the demon himself, Akuma (gouki) who showed up, as he promised Ryu he will, to settle the rivalry with his brother’s disciple once and for all. As you can expect, bison is not going to let that happen without a fight. I will not spoil the outcome of this great match, but all I can say is Udon did a great job is portraying one of the most memorable events of the Street Fighter games. While this great event is taking place, Guile, chun-li and Cammy are busy trying to get access to the psycho drive, Bison’s ultimate weapon and power source, and destroy it.

Street Fighter II Turbo #10 was released on Dec 16th. However, I believe It is still not too late however to review one of the best SF comic issues to date.
The issue starts showing Bison being tormented in his dreams about Rose who has been haunting him since her apparent death, hinting that she may still play an important role in his fate. The issue then takes us to one of the semi final matches: Cammy vs Balrog, without spoiling the outcome of the match let’s just say it is a bit unexpected and quite a treat to the eyes. But it is until this match that issue #10 shines as it takes us to one hell of waited battles for years, the rematch of Ryu vs Sagat. While the outcome of the fight is predictable the fight itself is beautifully choreographed and amazingly drawn. The fight does feel as the conclusion to a long struggle and journey for both characters. The issue then ends with the best cliffhanger in Sf comic history as bison is flying towards ryu to destroy him with his psycho crusher.

Ibuki fans rejoice! Udon has just announced a new upcoming SF legends mini series. This time it is ibuki’s turn to take the spotlight!
from Udon PR: “Launching in comic stores March 2010 is UDON Entertainment’s Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki, an all-new 4-issue miniseries from writer Jim Zubkavich and artist Omar Dogan. The creative team for the book sat down with comics news site ComicBookResources.com for an extensive interview about all things Ibuki, including exclusive preview pages!“

Official Synopsis:
All Ibuki wants is a normal Japanese high school experience, but her secret ninja life follows her everywhere she goes! With relentless ninja trainers, deadly Geki assassins, and a crazy karate girl named Makoto all on her case, she’ll be lucky if she even makes it to lunch hour in one piece! Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki is one part ninja action, one part high school antics, and 100% non-stop excitement!
Comicbookressources.com has an exclusive Article/interview with the udon folks as well some exclusive interrior art. The setting of story seems to be in the highshool that both Ibuki and Makoto attend, sounds like a fun miniseries.

Street Fighter IV #4 comic hit the shelves few days ago. The issue concludes the street fighter IV miniseries which mainly focused on the SFIV new comers.
The latest issue opens up where the last one left of, Abel is about to fight #15 (whom we know under the name Seth in the sf4 game). A fight that will finally answer the question that drove abel though half the world, the question of how he came to be and who he really is. And just as abel learned the painful answer, an unwanted guest challenges number 15, this warrior is non other that Akuma, the master of the fist himself..As the fight went on, the SIN base started exploding due to the instability of the BLECE machine, an event that almost did cost the life of clumsy Dan and the eternal highshool girl Sakura Kasugano, if Viper did not intervene, blowing her own undercover work to save the innocents she helped capture in the first place. Without spoiling much of the good issue, the outcome of the battle gave number 15 the ability to be free from shadaloo’s control, a gift that he welcomed by giving himself the name “Seth” and apparently hiring a new fighter, one that appears to be a female Korean taekwondo practitioner to replace viper

Street Fighter II Turbo #9 review: the Tournament heats up!
8 Comments | Posted by strugler in Comics

After a one week delay, Street fighter II turbo #9 was released last Wednesday. the issue continues the developement of the Street Fighter tournament as it unfolds. Since the issue is full of battles it is very hard to review without spoiling the book, However i will do my best to minimize the spoilers to give you guys time to check the comic yourself.

the issue opens up with the dolls attacking dhalsim as ordered by bison who feared that the yoga master might interfere with his major plans. It is worth mentioning while we are at it, that i very much appreciate the importance Udon gave Dhalsim as i always felt the character was either under used or misused in other SF adaptation. without spoiling much of the cool looking fight, the issues then takes us to witness more battles of the very much anticipated SF 2 Tournament. In this issue we witness the following fights: Guile vs Cammy, Chun-li vs fei-long, Ryu vs the winner of the chun/long match and Ken vs Vega.
While the first three fights are only one page to two pages long (although they really well drawn and very cool to see) the Vega vs Ken match was not only lengthy but also resolves the ongoing conflict between vega and Ken since the second issue of the Street Fighter series.
