Capcom to announce a new Game at Tougeki on August 5th!

Tougeki, the Japan equivalent of EVO, is happening this Saturday august 4th. And while there is already enough reason to get excited about this tournament, Capcom has made it even more interesting by promising a new Game announcement on August 5th at the event’s stage.

No other details has been given, but since tougeki is all about figting games, the new announcement will certainly be about a new fighter. chance are a bit high that it will be the, rumored, Darkstalkers 4: game. Keep cheking back as we try to do some more digging!

Below are the rumored info about the new Darkstalkers:

- The Japanese name is Vampire Resurrection. The Western release will be titled Darkstalkers 4: Vampire Resurrection. 

- It is in development, but it is still early on. It will be running on a modified SFxT engine. Don’t expect to see so much as a trailer for a few months at least, and no gameplay for a few months after that.

Rumor: Capcom Insider Information about Sf X Tekken, Darkstalkers 4 and more

The below information was submitted via e-mail from an unconfirmed source. The info claims some shocking revelations regarding Capcom’s SF X Tekken, SSF4 and the heavily rumored Darkstalkers 4. As usual, since this is a rumor, thou must take it with a fat, giant, big, humongous grain of salt. Enjoy:

Rumor: Darkstalkers 4 is in the works!!!

SF X Tekken is not even out yet, and rumors around Capcom’s next fighter have started to emerge! According venturebeat.net asequel to capcom’s monster fighters Darkstalkers is in the works under the supervision of Yoshinori Ono. the website source also clims, that the game has been in the works  since last year and the game will use a modified version of the SF4 engine.

While this is to be taken with a grain of Salt, one must note that the same website published a rumor about Resident Evil 6′s setting and characters before its official announcement.
