Review: Super Street Fighter Vol 1: New Generation

It sure has been a while since we got the chance to get a new Udon Street Fighter Comic! After finishing their SF2 Turbo run, the company made the decision to cancel the monthly ongoing comics and move into more of a trade based releases. The first book to capitalize on this idea is Super Street Fighter Vol 1: New Generation.

Let’s get something straight, the book, although advertised as an anthology, presents a coherent, ongoing story that is set few years after the Street Fighter 2 Turbo comics. The anthology aspect of the book is the fact that while there is a coherent story that spans few characters and settings, each of these characters mini-storiesis drawn by different artist, while the main story (following Guile and Alex) is drawn by Chamba.
